# Energy produced where it is consumed

Solar Energy

From site assessment to grid connection. We size the system on real consumption, even where the roof could take more panels, and hand over the calculation in writing before installing.

The investment

## An investment that never stops working

A photovoltaic system produces for 25 years or more. With comparable panels, what separates a good installation from a poor one is the sizing, the structure and the quality of the connection.

That is why the calculation comes before the installation: capacity, estimated output and payback, in writing. If the numbers do not work for your consumption, we say so.

Sized on real consumption

The system is calculated from the actual bill and load profile, not an average. Orientation, shading and structure all enter the calculation.

Installed to European standards

Our own teams, certified materials, and conformity verified on site rather than claimed in a brochure.

Warranty in writing

25 years on panels and 10 on inverters, with test report and photographic record of the works.

The handover

## What you have in hand when the works end

A photovoltaic installation is only complete when whoever commissioned it holds the documentation they need: for the insurer, the audit, a funding application, or the day something fails. We hand it over in writing.

### As-built documentation

What was installed, where, and with which materials: row layout, electrical schematic, strings and protective devices. It reflects what was actually built, including any changes to the original design.

as built

### Commissioning report

The measurements taken before handover: continuity, insulation, polarity, protection response and verified output under load. The report records the measured values.

at handover

### Declarations of conformity

The CE declaration for every piece of equipment installed, and the declaration for the installation itself. These are the documents the insurer asks for after an incident, and that an energy audit can request without notice.

per item of equipment

### Written warranties

Panels, inverters and workmanship, each with term, scope and the party responsible.

25 and 10 years

To all of this we add the photographic record of what ends up buried or covered, taken before backfilling while it is still visible.

In detail

## What sits behind each one

01

### Ground-mounted plant

Siting starts with the ground: boreholes to define the structure foundation, a topographic survey for row inclination, and a shading study across the year. Only then are the installed capacity and the medium-voltage route fixed.

- Fixed or tracker structure, chosen on real gain at the site rather than from a catalogue
- Transformer substation and medium-voltage connection carried out by our own team
- Continuity, insulation and I-V curve tests per string before commissioning

02

### Industrial rooftop

An industrial roof does not always carry what you want to put on it. The structural check comes before the quotation, and the fixing method follows the roof type (sheet, sandwich panel, fibre cement or slab).

- Load check on the existing structure and on the condition of the roof
- Non-penetrating fixing where the roof allows it, so watertightness is not compromised
- Cable routes agreed with whoever maintains the building

03

### Self-consumption

The system is sized on the building’s consumption, read from the bill and from the load profile across the day. The sizing criterion is the share of consumption covered by on-site generation.

- Load profile analysed before any capacity is proposed
- Battery storage only where the consumption profile justifies it
- 25-year warranty on panels and 10 years on inverters, in writing

## Questions that deserve a direct answer

How long does an installation take?

It depends on capacity and licensing. An industrial rooftop is measured in weeks; a plant with a substation, in months. The schedule is set out in the proposal and is not estimated over the phone.

Is a licence required?

In Portugal it depends on capacity. Up to 700 W is exempt. From 700 W to 30 kW requires prior notice to DGEG. From 30 kW to 1 MW requires registration and an operating certificate. Above 1 MW, production and operating licences.

What if the roof cannot take it?

We check the structure before proposing. If it cannot, we say so and present the ground-mounted alternative where land is available.

Do you do maintenance?

Yes. Preventive maintenance keeps output within forecast across the 25-year panel warranty.
